the only moment we were alone.

I myself am made entirely of flaws, stitched together with good intentions.

For this blog, I wanted to do something a little different. Instead of writing over my, as-of-lately, usual heartbroken woes and feeble attempts at forgetting, I’m going to write about a much more upbeat subject:
The things I love in life, and never want to go without:
(in no particular order, because I couldn’t choose an order if I wanted; I love every single one of these things)

1. The inexplicable feeling that comes about every so often, where you know, no matter what, everything is going to be okay. You will be okay. Things will work out.

2. Screaming at the top of your lungs to a song you love with your best friends while riding in the car

3. Taking pictures

4. The feeling I get when a picture turns out exactly as I saw it, or better.

5. Being called baby, sweetheart, honey, and other various pet names (when the boy means it, not patronizingly)

6. Happiness

7. Forehead kisses, and slow, passionate kisses

8. When people say things that are so sweet and thoughtful and amazing that they get stuck in my head, just like a song

9. A great book; well, books in general… I love ‘em

10. Like any typical person, being loved. falling in love. basically, love in general.

11. Meeting interesting people you can’t wait to know more about.

12. When you realize the feeling is mutual.

13. My dream that one day, someone will see something I’ve written and think “OH MY GOD. THAT’S exactly how I feel…I was never able to find the words that she found so eloquently.”

14. When people compliment me on my photographs.

15. Sleeping

16. Laughter

17. Compliments

18. Random acts of kindness.

19. My idealistic ideas…before people crush them. haha

20. How carefree children are, and the thought that one day I will be like that again.

21. Independence

22. Appreciation and Admiration

23. Intelligence

24. Dreaming about the future

25. My family and friends.

26. Being my mom’s hero. And, when she tells me I’m graceful and full of class and that I’m beautiful.

27. When people say “good morning sunshine”, and call me kels or “pretty girl”

28. My awesome memory. Well, most of the time.

29. When promises are kept.

30. Reading or hearing other people’s secrets. (It would make my LIFE if you ended up sending me yours, promise.)

31. When people don’t let me down and, instead, live up to how great I always thought they were and could be… I like to believe in people.
…I will believe in you, and I will trust you, until you let me down. It will only hurt me in the end if you fail. So, please try not to… I’m tired of being heartbroken.
